Software Engineer (m/f/d) API Platform

Currently, we are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join Team API a Platform Team within the R&D organization at Quanos. Team API owns the web UI framework, the GraphQL API and the cloud deployment of its own runtime components. Your internal customers are the five stream-aligned development teams building our product "ST4".

Maybe it's you? 

• Platform ownership: Develop and maintain the web UI framework and GraphQL API as internal products with a focus on quality, stability, and developer experience.
• Cloud deployment: Own the operational deployment and reliability of Team APIs runtime components in the cloud (AWS/Kubernetes), including CI/CD pipelines, runbooks, and operational readiness.
• Agentic development: Use and evolve AI-assisted development workflows (e.g. Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) to increase team productivity and code quality.
• Developer experience: Write getting-started documentation and ensure consuming teams can onboard to new platform capabilities easily. Documentation is part of your Definition of Done.
• Cross-team collaboration: Work with stream-aligned teams during Define & Design to surface framework and API implications early before solutions are locked.
• Software architecture: Contribute to API standards, governance, and future-proof architecture decisions for the ST4 platform.
• Modern software development: Apply modern methodologies and principles to ensure sustainable and maintainable software solutions.

• GraphQL: Strong experience in designing and evolving GraphQL APIs a core skill for Team API.
• Backend expertise: Long-term hands-on experience is required preferably on the .NET platform (C#)
• Cloud deployment: Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployments (Docker, Kubernetes); familiarity with AWS is a plus.
• Agentic AI development: Hands-on experience with tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex; ability to integrate AI-assisted coding into everyday engineering workflows.
• Frontend: A track record in React and TypeScript is a plus; willingness to go deeper where the platform requires it.
• Software patterns and principles: Deep understanding of software patterns and principles in the context of cloud-native solutions.
• Analytical skills: Strong analytical mindset able to grasp complex issues quickly and find sound, structured solutions.
• Language skills: Fluency in English is required. German is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
