Software Development Engineer Cloud (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Cloud Platform Team, responsible for designing, delivering, and operating the core services that power Quanos SaaS products. This team is at the heart of the Quanos Cloud, managing Kubernetes clusters, security guidelines and policies, and seamless integration with AWS services.

As a key contributor to our platform's evolution, you will collaborate with partner teams to ensure smooth integration and drive innovation across our foundational services. The ideal candidate is technically versatile, passionate about quality, and thrives in building robust, scalable and secure platform components.

• Design and implement platform services on AWS using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Develop new platform services such as container orchestration systems, telemetry and data storage, and support product teams with integration.
• Manage and improve the platform using insights from production data and feedback from product teams.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance platform reliability, scalability, and security.
• Work closely with peer developers and operations engineers to deliver high-quality solutions

• Proficiency in Terraform and programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts like fault tolerance or load balancing.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, preferably in GitLab environments.
• Proficiency in Terraform and programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Several years of experience developing cloud-native applications.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with the AWS ecosystem, including services like:
  • Core AWS Services like S3 or EC2
  • Container Orchestration: EKS
  • Telemetry services like CloudWatch, Prometheus etc.
  • Networking, e.g. VPC and ALB
  • ecurity and Compliance Services like Security Hub, Guard Duty or Control Tower
